TYLER – Jack Tyler died unexpectedly but peacefully, perhaps the only thing he did quietly, at the Strathmore hospital December 28th, 2007. He leaves behind his partner Joan and her family; his first wife Evelyn, their children Linda, Jacqueline, David, grandchildren Aaron, Adrian, Kendra and the Perkins family – Gary, Terry, Russell and Lee. He is also survived by his siblings Mary Ann Milton, Jim Tyler and Dixie Crouse.
Jack was born December 12th, 1932 at Medicine Hat Hospital and just celebrated his 75th birthday. This was about 25 years longer than he expected to live and we are thankful for the extra time we had with him. Jack’s career was long and varied – he had a true entrepreneurial spirit and a healthy appetite for adventure. He had an extensive stint in rodeo of which he was very proud and was a gold-card lifetime member of the CPRA. His spirit was larger than life and all of our lives are richer for his being here – he will be greatly missed.
