Thurlow – Norma Ruth Thurlow passed away September 291”, 2004 at the age of 77 years. Norma was born in Patricia on August 12t”, 1927, daughter to Stephen and Mary Ulrick, and had resided in Calgary until coming to the Newbrook Lodge, Brooks in 1995. She will be remembered for her love for her family, especially her grandchildren. Norma was predeceased by her brothers Roy Ulrick and Lloyd Ulrick and sisters Marlene Pickering and Betty Ulrick. She is survived by her loving children, son Darryl Hasselberg and his wife Peggy of Two Hills, Vern Hasselberg and his wife Terry of Airdrie and Trevor Hasselberg and his wife Vickie of Medicine Hat; 6 grandchildren, Casey, Kevin, Shane, Tanya, Dale and Kristie; 4 great grandchildren; 3 sisters Hilda Bunney of Brooks, Lillian Nester of Brooks and Iva Kozy of Calgary and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 2”d from Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. George Edmonds officiated.
