Stacey – Harold Wesley Stacey of Brooks passed away peacefully at the Brooks Long Term Care Health Centre on May 7th, 2009 at the age of 74 years. Born in Cornwall, Ontario on October 5th, 1934 Harold served with the Canadian Forces from February of 1953 until honorably discharged in July of 1973. Harold married Carol Dirks on October 21st, 1981 in Kingston, Ontario and moved to Alberta in the late 80’s. He will be remembered for his outgoing nature, great personality and for telling a good joke. Harold loved his family, art and working with cars. He was predeceased by his parents Ted and Marjorie Stacey and sister Claudia. Harold is survived by his loving family, wife Carol; friend John “JR” of Brooks; sister-in-law Penny Simpson of Winnipeg; 8 children; 21 grandchildren; sister Patty Jordon of Belleville, Ontario and numerous nieces and nephews.
