Mrs. Opal Spilde of Edmonton, previously of Provost, AB. passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at the age of 100 years.
She is survived by her loving family; four daughters, Elaine Shand, BettyLou Hill, Doris Cross and Vickey (Jim) Siler; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; as well as numerous other family and many dear friends. Opal was predeceased by her husband, Albert in 1985; her son, Clifford; and two son-in-laws, Dave Shand and Eddy Cross.
A celebration of Opal’s life will be held on Monday, June 4, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton.
