Skuban – Merryann Skuban of Duchess passed away at Brooks Health Centre on February 22nd, 2016 at the age of 71. Born at Brooks to Paul and Mary Skuban, Merryann resided at Rolling Hills and Rutland, British Columbia. Merryann held various jobs but eventually became known as the “Loomis Lady”; spending 29 years with the company. She loved music and dancing and attended any event she could. She had a wonderful, genuine laugh and people always knew when Merryann entered a room. She is survived by her children Annette (Brian) Berger and family; Adam (Kristi) Ponting and family; siblings, Branda (Ed), Rodney (Heather), Val (Allan), Bernice (Mike), Gilbert (Sherri), Ben (Lorna) and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 27th at Trinity Lutheran Church. Reverend John Theiss Officiated.
