Sinclair – Helen Alberta Sinclair of Brooks, beloved wife of the late Ken Sinclair, passed away peacefully on June 3rd, 2006 in Brooks at the age of 87 years. Born in Scandia on July 20th, 1918 Helen received her early education in Scandia, graduated in Minneapolis, Minnesota returned to Calgary to work in the insurance industry. Helen and Ken were married in Scandia on July 6th, 1942 and resided in Calgary. They later lived in Tilley, Medicine Hat, Maple Creek, Cypress Hills and Brooks. She will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness, her positive attitude and for being a very gracious lady. Helen loved her family and her many friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ken; 4 brothers Roy, Bob, Lorens and George Swenson and a long time friend Jim Little. Helen is survived by her loving family 2 sons, Gerald and his wife Bette of Edmonton and their 3 children Lisa (Darrel) Robertson and children Lucas and Noah, Brent (Jenny) Sinclair and daughter Makenna and Paul Ageyman; Wayne and his wife Penny of Brooks and their 3 children, Darren (Lindsay) Sinclair and their daughter Arianna, Kevan (Lesley Hotchkiss) Sinclair and Colin (Sarah Fiorentino) Sinclair; 2 sisters Betty (Chuck) Stenerson and Rose (Fred) Cowan; 2 sisters-in-law Eileen Swenson and Georgette Swenson and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 7th from Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. John Theiss officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are The Red Hat Club and the Sunday Night Supper Group. Active Pallbearers are Barry Ennis, Brian Ennis, Rodney Swenson, Wayne Swenson, Ted Parker and Gordon Bredahl.
