Marie Siemens passed away in the Vermillion Health Centre on Wednesday, March 19th, 2014 at the age of 92 years.
Marie leaves to mourn her passing: four children: Mildred Friesen, Dennis (Ann) Friesen, Joanna (Dennis) Chobater and Al Friesen; eight step-children: David (Joanne) Siemens, Jonathan (Marlene) Siemens, Wilda (Clarence) Stauffer, Vi (Ken) Dafoe, Ethel (Morgan) Sheremeta, Ralph (Lorena) Siemens, Glenda (Case) Van Niedek and Cheryle Meshen; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 21 step-grandchildren; 64 step-great-grandchildren and 24 step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband Dietrich Friesen; a second husband, Cornelius Siemens in 2007; infant daughter, Esther Damarus in 1956; son David in 2008; daughter, Helen (Jim) Newell in 2001; grandson Barry Friesen; son, Martin Friesen in 2011.
