Seitz – Carol Elaine Seitz (nee Viglietti), beloved wife of the late Thomas Michael Seitz, of Brooks passed away at the Brooks Hospital on Monday, June 12th, 2006 at the age of 65 years after a long struggle with Huntington Disease. Carol was born in Calgary to Pierina and Victor Viglietti on August 8th, 1940 and remained there until graduation from high school. She received her Nursing Aide Certificate in March 1962 and moved to Brooks upon graduation where she met and married Tom on August 24th, 1963. Carol will be remembered for her active role within the Catholic Women’s League, of which she has been a member for 40 years, many years of bingo nights at the nursing home, and her never ending love and devotion to her family and friends. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Pierina and Victor Viglietti, and her devoted husband, Thomas M Seitz (July 2000). She is survived by her loving family, son Brian and his wife Michele and their children, son Adam and daughter Chelsea, all of Brooks; son David of Airdrie; daughter Brenda Smadu, her husband Daren and their sons Dawson and Colbe all of Sherwood Park; brother Norman and his daughter Marla and son Scott of Calgary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 15th from St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Rev. Vincent Tuan Ha Celebrant. Interment to follow at Brooks Cemetery.
