Garry taught himself to be an outstanding carpenter, pilot, ham radio operator, mechanic, cabinet maker, electronics technician, electrician, plumber, locksmith, welder, sailor and fisherman. When it came to assisting others, Garry wouldn’t just know a little, he would really know a lot and would be happy to share his knowledge. He was a strong presence in his family, which he loved dearly and would do anything for. Garry was predeceased by his father, Arthur Ring in 2010.
