PROUDLOCK – Dr. Duncan MacDoughall passed away on October 9, 2006 at the age of 87 years.
Duncan was the son of Mr. Duncan and Mrs. Stella Proudlock. Duncan will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Anna, children: Donald (Patti), Patricia, Bonita (Loni) Proc, John Kimball (Laurie), Maria (Brian) McManus, Jan (Kim), Milo, Ginny Kascak, George, Peter (Vickie), Michael, Eva (Ray) Goss, grandchildren: Leah (Don) Hnatiuk, Christopher (Nancy), Richard (Yvonne), Nicole, Natasha, Duncan (Christa), Willow, Joshua, Danielle, Morgan, Austin, Meagan, Wade, Amanda, Ashley, Lauren, Paul, Lindsay (Tyler), Lori, Rachel, Evan, Riley, Travis, Jordon, Brydon, Krista, great-grandchildren: Nathanael and Faith. Predeceased by his siblings Harold (as a pilot in the WWII), Marion and Muriel. ‘Duncan was a veteran of WWII as a gunner and navigator on the Sutherland airplanes. Doctor of Chiropractor in both Brooks and Edmonton, AB. Duncan was a member of the board and registrar of the Chiropractors Association of Alberta, Director of the Southern Alberta Civil Defense, also a past grandmaster of the I.O.O.F. fraternal order. Duncan also found time to be a ham radio operator in all his adult life. Spending winters in the south, he could fix just about anything that came along while always studying about the nutritional foods that had healing qualities. Duncan lived by his example, was the love of Anna’s life, as Anna was the love of Duncan’s life.’ Funeral services for Dr. Duncan Proudlock will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2006 from the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Penticton, B.C. with Pastor Colin Cross officiating. Interment will follow in the Kerrobert Cemetery, Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2006.
