Prentice – Grant William Prentice, beloved son of Bill and Shirley Prentice, passed away suddenly in Brooks on Wednesday May 6th, 2009 at the age of 40 years. Grant was born in the Brooks Hospital on June 1st, 1968. He received all his education in Brooks. Grant worked in various construction jobs in Brooks and presently was working as a grader operator for Special Areas. He loved camping, golfing and in recent years traveled to Mexico, Cuba and Jamaica. Grant loved his family and held a very special place in his heart for his 2 nieces and Dustin and Brittany Nyberg. He will best be remembered for his gift of gab, big smile and sense of humor. Grant was predeceased by both sets of grandparents. He leaves to cherish his memory parents Bill and Shirley, brother Paul (Tara & Kelly), sister Corla (Shane), nieces Breanna and Tennile, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, his roommate Debbie Woodland and also his best friend, his dog Jack. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 14th at 2:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. John Theiss officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are all Grant’s many friends.
