Lindsay Albert Potter passed away on Friday, November 14, 2008 at the age of 69 years, beloved husband of Wendy Potter. Lindsay’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family including his wife, Wendy; two daughters, Lindsey (Don) Solodiuk of Edmonton, Alberta and Louise (Jay) Solomon of Medicine Hat, Alberta; two sons, Albert (Rhonda) Potter of Rockland, Ontario and Richard (Jennipher) Potter of Medicine Hat, Alberta; twelve grandchildren, Cheryl, Kimberly, Victoria, Adam, Kirsten, Alexander, Ashley, Darrian, Melissa, Jordyn, Austyn; and great-granddaughter Emily; brothers Rodger (Dianna) of St. Albert and Lloyd (Lorraine) of Edmonton as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lindsay was predeceased by his parents Albert and Grace and granddaughter Robyn. Lindsay was born in Nova Scotia and spent his formative years in Alberta. He served his country in the Canadian Air Force as an electronic technician in the 1960’s. He then worked for Canada Post working his way up to Postmaster and Auditor, serving in that position in numerous locations across Canada. Lindsay shared his love of family, travelling and trains with all he met. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Padre Jagoe of CFB Suffield officiating.
