Popoff: Venetia Ann
June 19, 1962- May 31, 2009
Venetia Ann Popoff of Calgary, passed away at the Rosedale Hospice on May 31, 2009 at the age of 46 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gary and daughter Hannah. She will also be remembered by her sister Valerie (Kevin) Leahy and niece Tegan of Taber, Alberta, brother Wayne Mrakava and nephews Stephen, Brooke, and Lucas of Brooks, Alberta, and her mother- in- law Eileen Popoff of Calgary. She was predeceased by her parents Steve and Shirley Mrakava of Tilley, Alberta, and her father – in -law Fred Popoff. Venetia was born in Brooks, Alberta and graduated from Brooks Composite High in 1980.She graduated from Mount Royal College as a nurse. Funeral Service was held at Christ Church Elbow Park (3602-8 Street SW, Calgary, Alberta) on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 1:00pm with the Rev. Canon Ansley Tucker, officiating.
