Pomeranz – Michelle Lynn Pomeranz (Mrakava) of Leduc, Alberta, beloved wife of Darren Pomeranz, passed away in Brooks on September 25, 2022, at the age of 59. Michelle was born on January 11, 1963, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Michelle was actively involved in children’s education, and loved cooking, baking, animals, hair styling, and hosting gatherings. Michelle was predeceased by her mother Gayle Kendall, father-in-law Virgil Pomeranz. She is survived by her father Albert Bittner (Barb); her husband Darren Pomeranz; sons, Stephen Mrakava (Kristine Luck), Brooke Mrakava, Lucas Mrakava (Kaylee Getz), Jake (Azaria) Pomeranz, Clayton Pomeranz and Landyn Pomeranz; mother-in-law Janet Pomeranz, and Luna the cat. Her siblings Vannessa (Cliff) Boswell, Amanda (Allan) Philpott, Rich (Dana) Bittner and Tyler (Dawn) Bittner, and numerous nieces, nephews. Her loving granddaughters, Camryn and Madison Pomeranz. A special thanks to all the caregivers and friends that helped Michelle over the years. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 7th at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Center in Brooks, Alberta with lunch to follow. Interment to follow at Brooks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Prairie Rose Hospice Palliative Care Society, Bag 300, Brooks, Alberta T1R 1B3.
