Holly loved her family more than anything. Spending time with her husband, kids and spoiling her grand children is some of the things she lived for. Holly was an animal lover, especially for her dogs. Holly loved to travel and have fun, especially with the oil wives club of Brooks and their convention trips. Camping with family was an all time favourite, didn’t really matter where, Rock Lake, Emerson Bridge, Rolling Hills Reservoir and going to the mountains for Canada Day long weekends. Holly enjoyed riding her motorbike. As her nieces and nephews grew up, they all loved her. Cruising with the music blaring and windows and sunroof open, singing as loud as possible. If you were looking for your kids and called Holly, she said “nope, didn’t see them’ as they all poured another drink. Holly loved to play crib, and always enjoyed beating everyone, especially her father. Another thing Holly loved was to shop, a day trip to the Hat with sisters, or Shyloh, or a girl friend, she even drug Dennis to go shopping. In July of 2020 Holly was diagnosed with Cancer. From July 2020 till Feb 2025 Holly had ongoing tests, numerous appointments, surgeries, and chemotherapy. During this time Holly showed the definition of a true warrior. Holly always loved working with people, from working at the steak loft, Suzy shirt, and the heritage. She tried her hand as an ambulance attendant. Eventually, she took her health care aide certificate and then completed her unit clerk where she worked until her health failed. Holly taught first aid / CPR courses for many years. Holly loved to be part of community and be with friends. It showed as she participated in the Brooks Oil wives club, Brooks and District Health Foundation, and a coach for Austin’s soccer team of the Grasslands Soccer Association. She volunteered in many other community events. God was ready for you, but we were not. The world won’t be the same without you Holly, in our lives.
