McCauley – Patrick Joseph McCauley of Duchess, beloved husband of Kay McCauley, passed away in Brooks on Thursday, June 23rd, 2022 at the age of 85 years. Patrick was born on August 22nd, 1936 to Peter and Isabelle McCauley in Bromley, ON the youngest of 11 children. Due to the passing of his Mom at 2 weeks of age, Pat was raised by Victor and Sophie St. Louis. He grew up and received his schooling in Haileybury, ON. He is survived by his loving wife Kay; his step-daughter Lynn Schrader (Mel), and step-sons Doug and Mike (Darlene) Moore. His grandchildren, Justin (Robyn), Scott (Kendra) Selk, Dara Skanderup (Tyler) and Faith Moore; great grandchildren, Skylar (Shenai), Rhylan, Kiara, Briea Hunter, Mikala (Calvin), Colby, Addie, Nash, Cruz and Kora; great great grandchild Waylen; brother Earl (Geraldine) McCauley and numerous nieces and nephews. Patrick was predeceased by his birth parents; Peter and Isabelle McCauley; 9 siblings; adoptive parents, Victor and Sophie St Louis and granddaughter Raina Schrader. A Celebration of Life for Pat will be held on Thursday, June 30th at 2:00 PM from the Heritage Inn Hotel and Convention Centre, Brooks, AB. A Family Graveside will take place at the Duchess Cemetery. Rev. Janice Whitelock officiating.
