    Louey – Sharon June Louey of Brooks, beloved wife of Warren Louey, passed away in Calgary on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021 at the age of 57 years. Sharon was born in Bowmanville, Ontario on June 27th, 1964 to Earl and Mavis Strong. She grew up in the Burketon, Ontario area and graduated from the Courtice High School. Sharon completed the Nurses Aid and Medical Assistant certificates and worked at many different jobs that allowed her to pursue her passion, helping others. She married Warren Louey, in Brooks, on August 1st, 1992 and they spent 29 wonderful years together. Sharon was an avid Brooks Bandits fan and enjoyed attending games, where she also found time to visit with many friends from the Brooks community. Her 7 granddaughters were the love of her life and she cherished every moment she spent with them. Sharon will be fondly remembered for her loving nature, infectious laugh, giving spirit and infectious smile. She was predeceased by her parents Earl and Mavis Strong, brother Earl Strong Jr. and father-in-law Bob Louey. Sharon is survived by her loving husband Warren Louey; children, Richard Strong, Kristie Keller and her husband Dave and Renee Tye and her husband Curtis; her 7 beautiful granddaughters, Amilie, Jillian, Nevaeh, Hayden, Myla, McKenna and Preslee; mother-in-law, Susan Louey; siblings, Paul Strong, Jimmy Strong, Jeff Strong, Sherry Swain and her husband Glen and Janice Hoy; in-laws, Deb Daub, Wanda Fleury and her husband Wade and Kevin Louey and his wife Linda, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. A Private Funeral Service will be held from Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. Esther Crews officiating. In memory of Sharon, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to either STARS, Suite 100, 1519 – 35th Avenue East, Edmonton International Airport   T9E 0V6 or Brooks and District Health Foundation, Bag 300, Brook, Alberta   T1R 1B3.
