Hale – Norma Vivian Hale of Brooks, passed away in Brooks on April 12th, 2005 at the age 83 years. Born in Duchess on July 16th, 1921 Norma received her education at Wellman School. She lived with her parents, John and Elsie Hale, on the family farm in Duchess until moving to Brooks in the early 1970’s. Norma loved her family and extended family. She will be remembered for her strength, will and determination. Norma was predeceased by her parents John (Jack) and Elsie Hale, 3 siblings Mary Bogi, Bob Hale and Chuck Hale. She is survived by her loving family, 5 siblings Bill (Ada) Hale of Crossfield, Gladys (Bob) Muir of Crossfield, Grace (Cecil) Cooper of Calgary, Jim (Donna) Hale of Rimbey and Clara (Dick) Havens of Crossfield and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kathy Hemsing officiated at family graveside services. In memory of Norma, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Brooks and District Health Foundation, Bag 300, Brooks T1R 1B3.
