Grummett – Aileen Grummett of Brooks, beloved wife of Bruce Grummett, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Friday, February 10th, 2016 at the age of 70 years. Aileen was born on March 24th, 1946 in Longlac, Ontario to Henry and Alice Davey. She attended school there, completing grade 9. Aileen married Bruce Grummet on October 10th, 1970 in Longlac and they resided there until 1996, when they moved to Brooks. She worked as a custodian at Griffin Park School for 9 years until retiring and becoming a full time homemaker. Aileen enjoyed church, especially teaching Sunday School and also enjoyed having coffee with her friends. She will be remembered for her special smile, warm personality and giving nature. Aileen is predeceased by her parents and three sisters. She is survived by her loving husband Bruce; 4 brothers and their wives; 4 sisters, 3 brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18th at 2:00 PM from Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. John Theiss officiating. In memory of Aileen, if friends desire.
