    GRAHAM – Daniel Harris Graham (Dan)
    Dan was born in Oshawa Ontario May 12, 1965 second son to Robert and Clara Graham, passed away at the Brooks Health Center August 21, 2024 at the age of 59. Dan fought a battle with cancer and diabetes. Dan never missed a treatment that was offered to him.
    Dan was educated in his early years in Oshawa finishing High School at General Vanier. his Passion was mechanics, welding and rebuilding cars. As an adult he moved to Alberta working at was then Lakeside Packers. He took 2 years course of Marine Technician at Fairview College, Fairview Ab. He worked in the marine field off and on then went into the oilfield and long haul trucking industry, hauling big machinery from Saskatchewan and BC to Quebec. He was employed with Lonkar and Exlon, to name a few. In the last years he spent the fall and winter working for Lantic(Rogers Sugar) as Shift Foreman for the beet harvest and at the plant. Dan was known around town for being able to fix almost anything there was always a gathering in our garage, he would help anyone who asked. Dan was always ready to bbq wieners and hamburgers for church and helped other organizations including the Cantara Safe house as a handyman. Dan enjoyed cars, hockey, go carts, boating, camping, skidooing, motorbike rides, watching wrestling, country music and guitar. Dan was an avid Brooks Bandits fan and hockey season ticket holder. Dan will be remembered for being giving, helpful, and reliable always to work at least an hour early. Dan is predeceased by a brother, Robert Graham Jr (Bobbie), infant sister Kimberly Ann, his mother Clara Graham, Step Mother Dianne Graham, Brother in Law Joe Valerian, Sister in law Connie Cotton, grandparents and other relatives
    Dan is survived by his wife Joanell Graham of 23 years, father Robert Graham, sister Sherry Cobbett(Wayne), St John New Brunswick, sister in-law Debbie, various nieces and nephews. Children Terry(Sherry) granddaughter Connie Maksymiak, Tim(Terri) Maksymiak, TJ Maksymiak, Pauline(Remelino)Pablo, Brothers in law Cal Carratt(Bernice), Ray Carratt (daughter Carlee), sister in law Linda Valerian and various other extended family and friends.
    There is a Memorial Motorcycle ride Saturday, August 14th and a Celebration of Life at the Church of God Sunday, August 15th at 3:00 pm. Interment will be at the Brooks Cemetery at a later date. Donation can be made to the Alberta Children’s Hospital, Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice. A special thanks goes out to Dr Coetzee, Marilyn, Janet and Jessica from the Healthy Living program and to family and friends that were there for us in the last year.
