GOURLAY – Timothy Arthur Gourlay
Timothy Gourlay passed away December 5, 2022 at 64 years of age, with his children by his side. He was a graduate of St. Francis High School, then aspired to SAIT for drafting and computers. Timothy was born August 10, 1958 and was raised in Calgary, AB by his adopting parents Clarence and Margaret Gourlay. In the early 80’s, Tim moved his new family to Bassano, AB where he continued to reside for the next 30+ years. He had various jobs over the years, but spent the last two decades working in water treatment. Tim spent many hours of his time volunteering throughout his community and neighbouring communities. He loved coaching, being the local Santa and bugging people along the way. It’s hard to describe his personality, he wasn’t just one thing. Tim was Tim, one of a kind. You either loved him or you didn’t. Tim is predeceased by his parents Clarence and Margret Gourlay and his long time spouse Cecile Larmour. He is survived by his three children, daughter Veronika; son Josh; daughter Katlyn and eight grandchildren: Sadie,Tyson, Samuel, Gabriela, Sophie, Grace, Annie and Kaylee; sister Tracie Gourlay and numerous relatives and friends. At this time, we are not having a celebration of Tim’s life, until the late spring/summer.
