Richard Joseph Godin of Brooks, beloved husband of Cheryl passed away in Brooks on October 27, 2020 at the age of 53 years. Richard was born in Germany and returned with his family to lower Sackville, Nova Scotia a year later. He attended school in Nova Scotia and Edmonton. He was a free happy spirit who would give others the shirt off his back if he thought it would help. Richard enjoyed being busy and helping friends. He was always optimistic and will be remembered for his love of family. He enjoyed classic rock, classic country, working on vehicles, watching movies and visiting over a cup of coffee. Richard enjoyed spending time with his fur babies. He was a member of Brooks Goldwing Motorcycle Association in 1990, he enjoyed playing baseball, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and numerous other family members. He is survived by his wife Cheryl, daughter Jamie (Burnett), and son Allen Burnett (Andrea) and Richard Jr. (Jordan) and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family members.
