Fukuda – Warren Fukuda, born January 30, 1952 in Brooks, Alberta, son of Tayeko (Frances) and Minoru (Ray) Fukuda died on March 1, 2025 on the farm near Patricia, Alberta, with his wife by his side. He was a beloved husband, dedicated father, doting grandfather, and loyal friend; though he would often joke you could only be friends if you had known each other at least 30 years. Warren’s life was enriched by his love of farming, hunting and fishing, but his life was defined by his strong family ties and friendships. He was man who could do anything he put his mind to, whether it was building his own house or wrangling his many inexperienced helpers into a competent working crew. Warren loved his cows and tolerated his horses, but the greatest joy of his life was to be on the farm, surrounded by family and friends, with both grandkids on his knee, enjoying a good visit. He is survived by his wife Gloria; his siblings Guy, Wes (Heather), Patricia, Brent (Brenda), and Janet; his four children, Ray (Veronica), Natalka (Jason), Katrina (Bunny), and Mataji; two grandchildren, George and Eleanor as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at the Patricia Hall at 10:30 am on Saturday March 8, 2025 with lunch served. As he was fond of saying, “Nobody has more fun than us,” so come with your stories and be ready for a good visit. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Warren’s name directly to either the Canadian Kidney foundation, 880-5160 Decarie Blvd., Montreal, Quebec H3X 2H9 or charity of choice.
