FESER – Elmer Ralph Feser
Sadly, Elmer passed away in Red Deer Hospital surrounded by his family on August 10, 2024 at the young age of 63.
He was predeceased by his Parents, John and Mary, Edwin (Brother), Ron (Brother), Marg Tjeerdema (Sister), Don (Brother), and Clarence (Brother). They were all waiting for him with open arms.
He is lovingly missed by his heartbroken wife, Melody (of 46 years together), sons Travis (Alison) and Mark. Grandchildren: Austin, Avlyn, Nevaeh and Bexley. Many, many kids considered him ‘dad’. Too many to mention, but none forgotten.
From a family of 9, sadly now only 3 sisters are left: Pat (Friday), Bernie (John), and Betty (Brent), along with many nieces and nephews. His Nephew Byron and Niece Natasha had him as their godfather (which he was honored to be). His in-laws (that he Always considered family) – Shearon(Ed), Wanda, Linda (Kelly) and John (Patti), and daughter-in-law, Ashley, are all left to mourn.
Elmer loved his family, more then they knew sometimes. His grandchildren made him laugh, and challenged him to board games like Qwirkl and even an occasional game of chess. He always had a piece of gum for anyone that wanted.
A Memorial Service will be held on August 23, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Red Deer. His Interment will be held privately with his wife and children at a future date in Blackfalds Cemetery.
The family is sincerely grateful to the staff at Red Deer Hospital, specifically Unit 32 for their care and kindness.
Memorial donations may be made at the Red Deer Hospice, or to a charity of one’s choice.
