    ERIKSSEN – Edward Peder Erikssen
December 12, 1957 – March 5, 2024 Edward Peder Erikssen, a man whose spirit was as strong as the roar of his beloved Harley. Born on December 12th, 1957, in Killam Alberta. Edward lived a life filled with passion, courage, love, good times and bad but, that’s what made him him. Throughout his journey, Edward faced many challenges, but none could diminish his indomitable spirit. Despite battling cancer after cancer, he approached each day with unwavering bravery, teaching us all the true meaning of resilience and faith. Edward’s heart was always big he tried to bring joy and laughing to all who he met. Always chatting up a storm or eager to embrace the open road and the company of friends. His Harley was not just a mode of transportation but a symbol of freedom and adventure, allowing him to feel the wind in his hair and the thrill of the ride. His love of truck driving gave him the opportunities to travel and see many sights he may have never seen. He loved his truck, he loved to travel, from Alaska to Mexico, from beautiful British Columbia all the way to Nova Scotia. Where ever the road would take him. Honking horns for kids with arms raised high. As Edward’s journey on this earth comes to an end, we take comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with his Mother, Ruth Erikssen whose love and guidance shaped his being and Father, Gudmunn Erikssen, whose strength and wisdom guided him through life’s trials and triumphs. Edward was also predeceased by his sisters, Ruby and Carol, his niece
Diane and Nephew Jim McDonald. As Edward takes his place among the angels, may he find comfort in the loving embrace of his family who have gone before him. May their reunion in the realms beyond serve as a testament to the enduring power of love and the eternal bonds that connect us all. As we reflect on the life of Edward Peder Erikssen, we find comfort in the knowledge that his legacy will continue to shine brightly through those he held closest to his heart. Left behind to carry on his memory is his partner of 15 years, Tracy Kersey Edward is survived by his siblings, Ronald, Thora (Dale), Linda, Bryan (Liz), Mervin, Laura (William) and numerous nieces and nephews. His children’s mother Lori Johnson. Edward’s greatest accomplishments, his truest treasures, are his children and grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life. As they carry forward his legacy, may they find comfort in the cherished memories they shared and the enduring love that will always connect them him. May the wind always be at your back as you journey on, and may your memory forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know you.
