Dench – Marg Dench beloved mother, grandmother & great grandmother passed away peacefully Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Brooks Hospital at the tender age of 90 years. Born October 17, 1930 at her parents Joseph & Katharine Virostek’s farm at Rainier. Marg attended school at both Kitsim & Brooks. Marg was employed with Alberta Government Horticultural Center from 1974-1994 in the Culinary Lab until her retirement. Marg took great pride processing & evaluating fruits and vegetables grown at the short Center as well as troubleshooting for farmers. Marg and Jack moved to Newbrook Lodge in 2010 where she enjoyed puttering in the flower beds for 5 years until her health started to decline. Marge resided there until her death. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Dench (2015) and her son Donald Schnieder (2019). Marg is survived by her son Ralph Schnieder (Patty) and daughter Bev Tedford. Grandchildren Jason Schnieder, Stephanie Hauck (Mike) and Shawn Tedford (Meagan). Great grandchildren Brandon Hauck, Zackery Hauck as well as Carter Tedford all of whom she loved dearly. Marg fondly thought of her numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. A Private Family burial of Marg’s ashes will be held at a later date. REST IN PEACE….you will be greatly missed but we know you are with us still.
