    Cameron-It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Gordon Cameron Sr. (Dick).
    On April 03, 2025 at age 92 in Edmonton Alberta while in Palliative care.
    Richard passed in his sleep with his wife Betty at his side to the end.
    Richard was born May 02, 1932 at Knee Hill Valley Alberta to Hugh Gordon and Beatrice Mae Cameron
    He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Betty Cameron, four children, Sharon Page (Kent) Richard Cameron Jr., Belinda Cameron , Elizabeth Sabourin (Maurice), 11 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
    Richard is predeceased by his younger brother Frank Cameron and Grandson Tyler Page.
    Richard worked in the Oil and Gas Industry. He started as a labour, to an owner of a company, then to Project foreman and Superintendent. His career took him from the southern boarders of Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia north up into the Yukon, NWT, and the High Arctic where he became a member of the Arctic Circle and Pan Arctic Clubs. He was a life time member of the Oilman’s Association and a 20 year member of ANAVETS (The Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans in Canada) in good standings.
    After his retirement from AEC he pursued his passions for camping, fishing, golfing, working in his shop on wood projects and most of all visiting with is family and friends. Richard was a truly unique person, a mesh of old and new school never afraid to try something new. His presence will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him
