Bohnet –Leonard Ralph Bohnet of Brooks, passed away in Brooks on Wednesday, September 18 at the age of 86 years. He was born on October 5, 1937 in Woolchester, Alberta to Walter and Emma Bohnet. Leonard was a man of many talents and will be sorely missed for his advice and his sense of humor. He loved working on his woodworking projects and helping his daughters with whatever projects they could dream up and was always a helping hand when needed. He loved getting back to his roots by going to the farm and helping during harvest. He enjoyed the weekends of fishing and camping with his family, playing cards, socializing, and dancing at the Legion. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley Bohnet and his three daughters, Cheryl (Gordon) Huggard of Langdon, Tracey (Marty) Caseley of Veteran, and Deanna (Cameron) Armstrong of Brooks, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Coetzee and all the staff at Long Term Care. In memory of Leonard, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Canadian Cancer Society for Research, 200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, Alberta T2E 2P5
