Andrejcin – Betty Lynn Andrejcin (Treiber), beloved wife of Ken Andrejcin of Bassano, Alberta, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 1st, 2021 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Betty was born in Bassano June 28th, 1960. She was the youngest of 3 children born to Cliff and Ina Treiber. Betty is survived by her husband Ken; children, Whitney (Jason) and Calvin; her 3 most precious grandchildren, Jessa, Kayson and Bennett. Betty is also survived by her mother Ina; brother David; sister Debbie; her nieces and nephews, Jon (Tanya), Yvonne (Jason), Jeanine (Alex), Daniel (Ginger) and Cody (Angela) and 11 great nieces and nephews. Betty grew up on the family farm in Countess, where she could carry out her love for animals. Betty met Ken in 1984 (he thinks) and they married in 1987. 10 months later they welcomed Whitney to their family and in 1990, Calvin was born. Betty went to work at the I.D.A. Drug Store for over 24 years, then found her niche working as an E.A. at Bassano and Rosemary schools. During these years the family enjoyed camping, it is a huge part of their lives, they also enjoyed watching Calvin play hockey and travelling to his games. Family time was very important to Betty, lots of time was spent with family near and far. In 2011 baby Jessa was welcomed with open arms! Jessa brought a light to her Gramma’s life like no other. In 2013, Kayson joined the family, although he is the quiet one, his presence was never left unnoticed and in 2016 Bennett arrived with a bang! Although he was full of spunk, he had a soft spot in his heart for Gramma. Betty loved her kids and grandchildren more than anything, she always went out of her way to be there for them. Although she has come to the End of her Trail, her light will always be there to guide us. She will be forever loved and missed by all those whose paths she has crossed. A Family Service will be held at Smith Memorial Chapel.
