Anderson – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rose-Marie Anderson, a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and dedicated volunteer, who left us peacefully in Brooks on January 10, 2025 at the age of 72 years. Born on May 10, 1952, Rose-Marie brought light and warmth to everyone around her. She worked as a compassionate healthcare aide, dedicating her life to helping others and providing comfort to those in need. Her kindness and tender care made a significant impact at the Brooks Healthcare Center, where she formed lasting friendships with both patients and staff. Rose-Marie was a devoted mother to her two sons, Ryan and Tyler, and a loving wife to William Ross Anderson. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished the time spent together, creating memories filled with laughter and love. As a proud grandmother, she delighted in the adventures and accomplishments of her grandchildren, always ready with encouragement and affection. She had a special place in her heart for friends. Rose-Marie treasured her livelong friendships; coffee time with friends, where she shared stories, laughter, and the warmth of companionship. Rose-Marie also loved animals and found joy in the companionship of her beloved dogs, Chumley and Murphy. Rose-Marie is survived by her husband, Ross (William); her sons, Ryan (Trina) and Tyler (Lisa); her brother, Wayne (Heather ) Russell; and her loving grandchildren (Taylor, Abigail, Lauren, Finley, Cohen and Briggs). The love and cherished memories she leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. In her memory, the family invites you to honour Rose-Marie’s spirit by continuing the kindness and care she showed throughout her life. Donations can be made directly to the Prairie Rose Hospice Palliative Care Society (https://prairierosehospice.ca/) or ,the local pet rescue; Brooks Animal Protection Society (info@bapsociety.com), causes that were close to her heart. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date in 2025. Friends and family will be welcomed to join in sharing their memories and celebrating the beautiful life of Rose-Marie Anderson.
