Anderson – We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected death of our father and Papa, Lee Wyness Anderson on December 21, 2023. Lee was a strong and dependable man, always ready to lend a hand or give you a look… Lee was born in Codessa, AB, on August 24, 1938, and was raised alternately by his mother, father and grandparents and nuns.
He met his love Daphne Scramstad in Drayton Valley in 1958 and they married the following year. He worked the oilfields across Canada before finally settling in Brooks. Along the way they added three children to the family, Lorne, Terri and Michael.
He was predeceased by his daughter Terri in 2006, daughter-in-law Kathi in 2022 and wife Daphne in 2023. He is survived by son Lorne (Calgary), Mike and wife Carolyn (Duchess), 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
As per Lee’s wishes, there will be no funeral. A private service will be held at a later date.
