Aman – Robert Charles Aman of Brooks, beloved husband of Denise Aman, passed away in Brooks on Saturday, September 16th, 2023 at the age of 60 years. Rob was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on September 10th,1963 to Bev and Dolly Aman and raised on a family farm. He was educated in the Medicine Hat Public School System. Following graduation Rob eventually moved into the city, where he lived for several years. After moving to Brooks, Rob met his future wife, Denise Willard on New Years Eve, 2003, and they wed on June 26th, 2010. He spent the last 25 years working at Vibrook Vacuum and Septic Service, where he was a valued and respected employee. Rob was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed taking hunting trips with family and friends. He was introduced to hockey by his wife and became obsessed with the game. Rob was often seen at Bandits games, cheering loudly. He was a member of the local gun range and taught his granddaughter, Kate, to shoot. Rob will be best remembered for being the person you could always count on for help, whether it was opening a jar of spaghetti sauce or picking you up when you were stranded, he would always show up. He was quick to laugh and easy to love. Rob was predeceased by his daughter, Ashleigh, son, Travis and siblings Mick and Sue. He is survived by his loving wife Denise; children, Jason (Adele), Krystal and Brandon; stepchildren, Christopher (Tracy) and Megan (Chris); parents, Bev and Dolly, sister Pam (Randy); 9 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were held on Friday, September 22nd at 2:00 PM from Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Maggie Theiss and Rev. John Theiss officiating.
