Rose Meyer
1932 – 2022
The family of Rose Meyer is deeply saddened to announce the passing of their mother on June 17th, 2022, at the age of 90 years in Medicine Hat, AB. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her loving children. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her children, Floyd (Linda) Buck and his child, Robert; Rose Ann (Ken) Noble and their children, Lee (Cass) Noble, Kevin (Sheri) Noble; Alfred (Diana) Buck and his children, Michael (Val) Reimer, Justin (Nicole) Reimer, Terri (Lyle) Reimer; Ida Ronan and her children, Stephanie (Dallas) Cram, Eric (Nikki) Glass, Natasha (Stephan) Canaday; Donald Buck and his son, Joshua; Alva (Dan) Hamilton and her children, Jody (Sheldon Steinkey) Vas, and Lyndia (Devin) Fedosa; numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; sisters, Margaret Cyr, Gertrude Albright, Alice Webster (Melvin) and Avilena Rose; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Rose was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Sara Dyck; husband, Jacob Meyer; son, Joseph Buck; grandson, Michael Noble; brothers, Henry, Dave and Irvin; sisters, Annie, Nettie and Susan.
Mom was a very caring lady who loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed helping others. Mom really enjoyed being with her grandchildren. They brought so much love and joy to her life. She enjoyed the outdoors especially going down to the river to fish with family. Mom enjoyed gardening and her flower beds reflected that through their beauty. She loved to cook large meals for all her children and grandchildren. There was always a pot of soup on the stove whenever you stopped by. Mom cooked in many restaurants and she was well known for her delicious home-made meals.
There will be a Celebration of Rose’s Life held on June 24th @ 1:00pm at Victory Lutheran Church with visitation from 12:00pm – 12:55pm. Condolences may be made at www.gracememorial.com.
