Bandits name Evan McFeeters assistant coach

Evan McFeeters has been named as the Brooks Bandits assistant coach.
McFeeters joins the team after five seasons as the assistant coach/assistant GM of the Canmore Eagles.
‘’I am really looking forward to taking on this new opportunity and joining the Bandits coaching staff,” said McFeeters.
He said the plan laid out to him by Bandits GM and head coach Ryan Papaioannou was detailed.
“The organization is driven by setting and reaching new goals and that really motivates me,” McFeeters said.
McFeeters has also been the head coach of the Cochrane Generals of the Heritage Junior Hockey League and the head coach of the Bow Valley Timberwolves U18 AA program.
“With the abrupt end to last season and the uncertainty of what was to come this year, we wanted to remain engaged in all areas of our operation, looking for areas we could improve,” said Papaioannou.
“We were presented with a challenge to rebuild our coaching staff and with the addition of Taylor Makin and now Evan McFeeters we are extremely well positioned for the future.”
McFeeters is a High Performance 1 certified coach and has created curriculums and developed numerous camps, clinics, and programming throughout Western Canada.
