Sisters Shelley Vikedal and Robbie Hodgson along with former Brooks resident Lori Kube will compete in women’s 35 and over fastball at the Pan-American Masters Games in Cleveland, Ohio.
The players, including teammates from Saskatchewan, Lloydminster and Red Deer, are expected to be among the thousands of athletes competing in up to three of the 35 events.
“It is an honour to be asked to play on the team,” said Vikedal.
The women’s fastpitch teams, as of Monday, include Alberta Wild, Canadian Thunderstruck and Bruisers, an Australia/Japan team.
The 10 day event includes three days of fastball beginning on July 12.
