Wigemyr – Susan Eileen Wigemyr of Bassano, beloved wife of Blaine Wigemyr, passed away in Calgary on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the age of 53 years. Born in Brooks on September 26, 1963 to John and Eileen Ostafichuk, Sue received her education in Duchess. She worked a few jobs before settling in Bassano working at the feed mill. She spent 33 years living in Bassano where she became a loved member of the community. Sue always kept a positive outlook and found enjoyment in life’s simple pleasures. She adored and delighted in the company of her nieces and her family. Sue is survived by her husband Blaine of Bassano; parents John and Eileen Ostafichuk of Imperial Colony; maternal Grandmother Emily Riste, sister Sonja Schock, her husband Tracey and their children Nicole (Goddaughter to Susan), Maddison, Paige and Brooke as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 4 at 2:00 PM from the Bassano Community Hall. Rev. John Theiss officiating.
