Trembecki – Joseph Roy Trembecki of Brooks, beloved husband of the late Beth Trembecki, passed away in Calgary on September 20th, 2004 at the age of 60 years. Born in Lethbridge on August 17th, 1944 Joe did carpentry in his earlier years. The love of the land was in his blood and was happy to purchase his first quarter of land in Duchess when he was still single. Joe bought his Father’s farm in the early 1970’s and loved farming and raising cattle. He worked hard and subsidized the farm by either building, renovating dairy farms, houses and quonsets. In 1984 Joe and Beth became the UFA bulk agents in Brooks. He built the home they lived in and his wife and soul mate and sons were the best part of his life. Joe was equally proud of his sons and his grandchildren were the apple of his eye. Just over a month ago, family and friends got together to celebrate his 60th birthday. Joe would laugh and say he was going to live to be 85, but it wasn’t meant to be. We knew he missed Beth deeply and now they are together in eternity. Family meant everything to Joe and family gatherings were important to him. He was a kind, generous, compassionate person. Joe’s smiling face and friendly manner will be sadly missed and always remembered by all who knew and loved him. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (Beth), his mother Elizabeth, father Joseph, step-mother Elizabeth, infant grandson Devon Trembecki, Phillip, Peter and Karl Deschner, brother-in-law Erns’t Ostreicher. Joe is the beloved father of 4 sons, Richard (Tanya) their children Taylor, Daniele and Cody of Medicine Hat; Tom (Jody) their children Logan and Dylan of Duchess; Gerald (Alisa) and Charlene of Duchess and Steven (Tricia) their children Nolan and Lauren of Brooks. He also leaves to cherish his memory sister Anne (Louis) Meszaros and family of Winnipeg; Hilda (Joe) Chronik and family of Lethbridge; Margaret Rose (Ed) Gee of Calgary; Margaret (Joe) Heidt and family of Calgary; Liz (Julius) Schell and family of Calgary and Helen (Karl) Schutz and family of Calgary and numerous other family and friends.
