ANDERSON 1936 – 2004
D.M. Bud Anderson, died peacefully at Rockyview Hospital, Calgary, on June 30, 2004. Bud was born April 2, 1936 in Scandia, Alberta. He and his wife Joyce spent the first years of their marriage in Forest Lawn, moving to Fort McMurray in 1973. Following Bud’s retirement from Suncor in 1993, they heard the calling to return to Southern Alberta and settled in Redwood Meadows. Besides his wife Joyce of 44 years, Bud will be dearly missed by his daughters, Denise Grenier and Heather, both of Calgary; and four grandsons, Shaun, Adam and Tommy Grenier and Ryan Madden. He is also survived by his brother Don of Vancouver; sisters, Joyce Cann of Lethbridge and Beth McKay of Surrey as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bud was predeceased by his parents, brothers Dick and Lincoln and brother-in-law Paul Cann. Bud will be remembered for his love of his pets and was a strong supporter of the SPCA. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Lind of Bragg Creek and to Dr. Wilkinson and the nurses of Unit 58 at the Rockyview Hospital for the excellent care of dad. A Memorial Service will be held at Redwood Meadows House (1 Many Horses Drive, Redwood Meadows, AB) on Thursday, July 8, 2004 at 3:00 pm.
