MACKENZIE – Gerald Reid Mackenzie of Brooks, beloved husband of Ruth Thompson passed away in Brooks on December 20, 2024 at the age of 78. He is survived by his daughter Kim (Jason) Hilfrich, son Gregory McKenzie, grandson Bradley and granddaughter Holly, brother Graden, (Carol) Mackenzie, sister Bonnie (Keith) JOHNSTON, sister Kathy (Pete) Robinson and nieces Donna and Carla. Gerald enjoyed working with oil companies and operating his boiler and water trucks; watering down roads and working all over different counties. He was an avid fan of Stock Car Racing and would attend any race that he could and videotape so others could enjoy the event as well. He was predeceased by his mother Etta and father Donald and nephew Davie, Johnston.
