Gauthier-Holden – It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Theresa Lee Gauthier-Holden of Brooks, who passed away peacefully at home in Brooks, on Thursday, September 12th, 2024 at the age of 65 years. Theresa was born in Blairmore, Alberta on June 2nd,1959 to Frenchie and Anna Gauthier. In 1964, the family was called back to the prairies where Theresa finished her schooling. She worked at the Brooks Bulletin for 25 years on and off. Theresa’s passion were painting, grandkids and to one day write a book of her life experience “Just When I Thought I Was Having a Good Day.” She was predeceased by her father, Frenchie Gauthier in 2014. Theresa is survived by her husband Dave; stepson Ryan; son TJ (Dawn); grandchildren, Nicholas and Cameron; siblings, Darren (Stacie) Brooklyn and Niana (Kevin) Doble; dog Hutch and numerous extended family and friends. In memory of Theresa, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Brooks Animal Protection Society, Box 86, Brooks, Alberta T1R 1B3.
