Wangsness – Lowell Dwight Wangsness of Brooks, Alberta passed away on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023, at the age of 75 years. Lowell was predeceased by his parents Carl and Bernice Wangsness, brother Orin Wangsness, and brother-in-law Alfred Moodie. Lowell is survived by his children, Michael (Tina) Wangsness, Peter Wangsness and Angela (Wayde) Maxwell; grandchildren, Alyssa and Aiden Maxwell and Matthew Wangsness; former spouse, Patrica Wangsness; siblings, Ron (Connie) Wangsness and Karen Moodie, and sister-in-law Pamela Wangsness. Lowell will be lovingly remembered for his quick wit and sarcastic humor along with the quiet strength he used to face life’s challenges. In accordance with Lowell’s wishes no services will be held. In memory of Lowell, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to either the Canadian Cancer Society, 200, 235 – Manning Road ME, Calgary, Alberta T2E 2P5 or Brooks Food Bank Foundation, 327 – 3rd Street West, Brooks, Alberta T1R 1B3.
