In her early years Judy’s family moved frequently around B.C. She attended high school in Kamloops graduating in the early 60’s from Kam High. Her early experience of frequent moves carried into her adult life. Her thirst for discovery and curiosity brought her to cross Canada numerous times as a young adult.
Judy met Daniel Zelensky while working at the Brooks Horticultural Station during its heyday. Judy was a wonderful mother to her daughter Heather who was born shortly after they were married. Heather now lives in British Columbia with Brennan. Their son, Carl followed later. He resides in Brooks. Carl has four beautiful children with Amanda.
Judy was a good mother and a great cook. She loved to travel to new places, and often took the kids on road trips near and far for big and small adventures. She loved nature and was a gifted artist, cultivating her skill at sketching during her life. She had a deep sense of personal style and aesthetics, having an affinity to jewelry and collected curios of all kinds. She was blessed with a refined sense of humour. She loved a good laugh, and to see the good in things. Her beautiful smile was contagious, and everyone loved her kind demeanour and playful giggle. Judy was a special person all around who always had a gentle greeting. She will be deeply missed by her family and those who knew her.
