Manchur – Lena Manchur was born July 7th, 1929, and passed on Friday, October 28th, 2022, reaching 93 years of life. Mom grew up in Turin, Alberta and spoke fondly of school chums and neighbours from there. Mom always spoke lovingly of her dear sisters, Frances and Bessie, and her darling mom Anne, from during that time. Lena was predeceased by her mother Anne, her daughter Christine Janet, her daughter Deb Manchur, her sisters, Bessie and Frances, and her cousin Linda Link, whom mom raised as her own, when tragedy left Linda an orphan. Lena is survived by her loving children, Janet (Allen Sandau), Ken, Darlene (Dale Tulloch) and Robin. She is also survived by grandchildren, Meghan and Kaylen Donald, Arlie and Steve Manchur, and Tammy, Trevor and Tracy Sandau. She also bragged about her great grands, Kobe, Cohen and Kai Lewis, Keily Donald, Theo Manchur, Peyton, Dylan and Charlie Sandau, and Malcolm, Cameron, Brennan and Liam Tomm. All who would like to attend are invited to a come and go social at Rob Manchur’s home, 224 First Street West, Brooks on Saturday, November 5th between 1:00 – 3:00pm for refreshments and to reminisce and share memories of our lovely mom.
