Pierson – Daniel Paul Pierson passed away the early morning hours of March 9, 2008 in Brooks Long Term Care Centre. He was born April 13, 1924 at the farmhouse on the homestead where son, Brad now lives. He lived most of his 83 years on his ranch in the Wardlow district. He ranched and loved the land, his dogs, horses, hunting and fishing, camping and his family. He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Lizzie Pierson, his brother Ernest and sister Lucillle Owen, infant sister Alice Pierson, and grandsons Kody Pierson and Bobby Campbell. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Jewell Pierson, daughters Elaine (Eric), Dixie (Larry), and Donna (John) and sons Randy (Rita), Bradley (Charlotte) and Bruce (Connie); 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one brother Lawrence Pierson. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13 at 2:00 PM at the Duchess Community Hall. Lunch to follow.
