It is with profound sadness that we announce that Ken, at the tender age of 47, passed away at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary. Ken suffered a massive heart attack in July, 2006 and fought courageously with heart failure until it overcame him on January 23.
Ken was born in Regina, Sask. February 4, 1959. He attended school in Mortlach and Moose Jaw, Sask. Upon his marriage to Patti in 1979, he took over the family farm and continued farming until the late 1990s.
Ken pursued many ventures in his lifetime. He acquired a passion for working in the well service industry of Alberta. He was employed with Alberta Rhythm Well Service of Brooks, based in the Strathmore area at the time of his passing.
Predeceased by his father Allan, Ken is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Patti, sons Allan (Tenneille), Kevin. His mother Della, sister Janet (Searle) and grandson Ryker who held a very special place in his heart.
At Ken’s request, there will be no service. A private family service will be held at a later date.
