Robertson – Jeanne Louise Robertson passed away on December 25th, 2004 at the age of 82 years in the Rockyview Hospital, Calgary. Born in Duchess on January 22nd, 1922 Jeanne was raised on the family farm. She and Jack were married at the Brooks United Church on September 10th, 1942 and Jack worked in the Turner Valley – Black Diamond area. They returned to Brooks in 1945 and Jeanne resided here until moving to Calgary in 2000 to live with her son Brian and his family. Jeanne was a member of the Brooks United Church singing with their choir and a had been a member of the UCW. She will be fondly remembered for her love for her family. She was predeceased by her husband John (Jack) on November 16th, 1996. Jeanne is survived by her loving family, son David and his wife Jocelyn and their family, children Lara and Dwayne Ellis, Alan and April Robertson, Mardi and John MacFarlane, Jayci Robertson, and great grand children Zachary, Kierstan and Parker MacFarlane; son Brian and his wife Cheryl and children Kerry and Doug Hill, Heather Robertson and Sandra Robertson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM from the Brooks United Church on Monday, January 3rd, 2005. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to Canadian Cancer Society for Breast Cancer research.
