SCOTT – Edgar Archibald 1913 – 2005: Edgar passed away peacefully at the Mayfair Care Centre in Calgary, AB on February 24, 2005 at the age of 91. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Ellen, married 64 years, daughters Peggy Holmquist (Ken, deceased), Judy Richards (Carl), Rita Middleton, and Irene Essington (John), twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Born on June 11, 1913, Edgar grew up around Roland, MB. He met Ellen in Ochre River, MB and they raised their family in southern Alberta in Tilley, Brooks, Vauxhall and Calgary. Interests outside of work and family ranged from lapidary to geneaology. Dad had traced his family roots back to Ireland and Scotland. Throughout all Edgar was a devoted family man. You had a long life Dad. You always gave it your best. We will remember you always and look forward to seeing you in heaven.
