Santa Claus Parade Nov. 16 ... Parade, music, shopping and fireworks will begin the holidays
SANDRA M STANWAY
Brooks Bulletin

The snow is here, holiday lights illuminate the city and Santa Claus is re-checking his list.
It really is starting to look a lot like Christmas.
Santa will make his first visit to the region on Nov. 16 at the annual Brooks Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade and then he will return on Nov. 19 for Breakfast with Santa.
Parade floats, which must include lights, are to begin lining up at 5:30 p.m. at the old Martin Chrysler parking lot on 2nd Street West near 9th Avenue.
The parade will begin sharply at 6:15 p.m. so it can reach its destination, Veterans Park beside city hall, for Christmas in the Park with musical hosts Jean and Barry Morishita.
When you’ve grabbed your refreshments get ready for the annual awesome winter display of fireworks and take the time to have your photo taken with Santa in the lobby at city hall.
Many Brooks businesses will remain open until 11 p.m. for Moonlight Madness.
