Family seeks information on missing son, brother
A Brooks family is desperately searching for their 30-year-old son and brother who has not been heard from since Sept. 27. Fletcher Kimmel was reported missing to Calgary Police by his mother on Oct. 5. His last known location is Calgary. “This is entirely out of character for Fletcher. It is not like him to take off without informing close friends or family,” states his sister’s Facebook page.

Crusaders roll to convincing wins
St. Joseph’s Crusaders continue to cruise along undefeated in Alberta Six Man Football League play. The defending provincial champions picked up lopsided wins over the past couple of weeks to move to 6-0. Play Friday evening at Home had the Crusaders cruising to a 70-0 win over Holy Cross of Strathmore. Strathmore entered the game without their starting quarterback who was hurt. Their best players, who is a running back, moved to the position and did give the Crusaders trouble in the early going.

Wall of fame inductee living his dream job
A passion for hockey helped Harnarayan Singh expand his friendships with students and school staff. It also led him to successfully pursue his life long dream of becoming a Hockey Night in Canada Punjabi Edition commentator. Singh, who was inducted into the BCHS Wall of Fame on Friday, Oct. 7, spoke to students about growing up in Brooks.
