WESTON – Lorne Weston, Cowboy, Trucker & Woodcarver passed away peacefully in Brooks on October 25, 2003. Survived by his only daughter Delane Rae Weston and his only granddaughter Micaela Bree Ainsworth. Also by his bothers Edward, Howard and Norman and their families. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Lorne gave us the gift of himself and that gift will live on in the memories of his family and his many friends. There will be no service and flowers are gratefully declined. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Foundation, if desired. There will be a gathering to celebrate Lorne’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion in the Shuffleboard Court room in Brooks, AB, Thursday, October 30th at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
